Some people seem naturally good at connecting with others. But connection isn't just something we're born good at. It's something we can learn and practise.
When connection isn't working well, misunderstandings grow, different perspectives get overlooked, decisions suffer, and people end up working around each other rather than together.
And in a world of constant distractions, information overload and change, making meaningful connections can take more effort than ever.
The Connexion Project exists to help people get better at connecting. Through practical tools, experiences and conversations, we help people develop the skills to think more clearly, build better relationships and work more effectively together.
The Connexion Model helps us understand what makes connection work and how we can get better at it.
It brings together four dimensions:
Meaning: Being intentional about what matters.
Belonging: Building strong relationships.
Insight: Getting curious and connecting ideas.
Alignment: Bringing clarity and shared understanding.
Together, these four dimensions help us connect more effectively with people, ideas and the world around us.
Informed by research and real-world experience, the Connexion Model provides the foundation for The Connexion Project's tools, activities and programs.
Help your team or group understand why connection matters and how to build it.
Our speaking sessions are engaging and practical, introducing the importance of connection and the skills we can develop to connect more effectively. Participants will leave with fresh perspectives and practical ideas they can apply in everyday life.
Sessions can be tailored for workplace teams, school groups, and community organisations.
Our Connexion Workshops help teams and groups develop practical skills to connect more effectively.
The series includes four workshops, one for each dimension of the Connexion Model: Meaning, Belonging, Insight and Alignment. Each workshop focuses on developing skills and putting them into practice to create meaningful changes in everyday behaviour.
The Connexion Challenge Cards offer 52 simple, practical challenges, reflections and experiments to help you build better connections.
Each card encourages you to try something different, whether that's being more intentional, building stronger relationships, getting curious or bringing clarity.
Try one challenge each week for a year, pick a card at random or focus on an area you'd like to develop. Use them at work, at home or in everyday life.
The Connexion Diagnostic is a practical reflection tool designed to help individuals and teams understand how effectively they connect.
Through a series of targeted questions, it explores the four dimensions of the Connexion Model, highlighting strengths and areas for development.
The results are designed to prompt reflection, encourage meaningful conversations and identify practical actions to build better connections.

The Connexion Index is being developed to help organisations measure and monitor how effectively people connect and work together.
Building on the Connexion Diagnostic, the Index aims to provide a consistent way to track connection across the four dimensions of the Connexion Model and explore how connection relates to organisational performance.
Over time, it will help organisations identify trends, monitor progress and make more informed decisions about where to focus their efforts.
